Regular users of Oxted’s Master Park will have noticed the flashy new gates that have recently been installed, replacing the old wooden ones, which were well past their sell by date! Titsey Rotary Club have helped make this possible with their generous donations from monies raised from their Oxted Boot Fairs last year (Yes – it’s taken quite a few months, but the gates have now been designed and manufactured by Simon Larkin of Tandridge Forge, and installed by Master Park’s regular contractor, Nick Dance.)
Speaking at the “official opening” of the new gates, Pammy McNaughton, Chairman of Master Park Management Committee said: “The Oxted Boot Fair is a regular fixture on Master Park and we are immensely grateful for the support Titsey Rotary Club gives us. The new gates are the latest in a long line of improvements to the Park that have been funded by Titsey Rotary Club. Quite honestly, I don’t know how we would maintain Master Park to the standard we do, without Titsey Rotary. Thank you, Rotary!”
Titsey President Sue Lippmann said: “Titsey Rotary Club is pleased to support Master Park, the home of the Oxted Boot Fair. The new gates for the Park are just one of the ”projects” we were able to fund from last August’s Oxted Boot Fair. Watch out for more announcements coming soon as a result of our boot fairs this year (one last weekend and one coming up on Sunday 18 August.)”

Oxted “Oak Cubbers” have been amazing in organising a “litter pick” …. many of the community do not realise that litter and garbage removal is our biggest annual expense so any help we receive is gratefully received …. and how lovely to see youngsters volunteering to help the Park ….. “thank you Oak Cub Pack”
The Trustees would like to say “THANK YOU” to everyone who helps support Master Park.
Also a HUGE thank you to our “Friends of the Park” who have generously donated over the years and without whose help the park would not be able to survive.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the many neighbours and users of the park who collect litter and help keep the park tidy.
